The customer can choose online:
- The date of removal
- All addresses and their accessibilities
- Items to be transported from each room
- Insurance, if you so wish, for the most fragile and valuable items
- Boxes for clothes, books, crockery, etc.
- Parking permits and police assistance, if necessary.
cityMover's system allows you to plan and implement your move with controlled costs and the safety of professionals.
On average, each cityMover container has a capacity of 1 (one) linear meter of files with simple folders with an 8cm spine.
Each container is 50x50x50cm, which may seem small, but once filled can weigh more than 30 kg. They are designed to be moved freely by our staff, taking into account HSST (Hygiene, Safety and Health at Work) requirements.
No! But everything that can be dismantled and prepared beforehand will make the move faster, avoiding additional costs. In most relocations, it is usual for each employee to be responsible for packing the contents of their workstation, i.e. desk, drawer unit, cupboard(s)
No! The disassembly and reassembly of the desks is carried out by cityMover and is included in your quote.
o dismantle other types of furniture (shelves, cabinets, etc.), or for other specialized file packing service, especially involving technical equipment, please contact us.
- Desktops with separate monitors: usually each employee turns off his equipment and puts the wiring in proper bags provided by cityMover, which later packs and transports them.
- Laptops: usually each employee carries their own.
- Servers: we recommend the visit of a cityMover consultant in order to assess transport requirements.
In any case, we do not recommend placing computer equipment in containers.
- All contents of desks, drawers, cabinets and shelves should be placed in containers
- All computer equipment should be turned off and cables placed in proper bags provided by cityMover
- All desks should be paper free and ready to dismantle
- All items to be moved must be labeled according to cityMover guidance
- From and to addresses, including any security staff, must be made aware of the move

At the start of our online form you can check the available dates. After confirming the removal date and price, you will receive a call from cityMover up to 72 hours before your move.
As agreed with our consultant, either by bank transfer, debit card, check or cash.
Your invoice may be sent by email or post to the new address, within two days after the move.
Upon completion of the move, you must mark on the transport guide, in the "Recipient's reservations" field, any and all anomalies resulting from the move. That is, any apparent damage to a moved item or any defect in its packaging.
If there are no reservations, it is assumed that all items were delivered in good condition. To report any non-apparent damage you have up to 8 days after the move.
You should always sign the transport guide and keep a copy, as it is the only proof for the purpose of claiming before cityMover, or before the insurance company.
Ten euros per kilogram of gross weight of the missing items. If you choose to take out specific insurance for the removal, the limit will be the declared value of the insured items according to the list filled in the moving form.
CityMover has 1) Mandatory civil liability and work accidents insurance; 2) Transport insurance: covers damages resulting from road accidents, shock, fire, overturning, lightning or explosion of the vehicle.

On average, each room consumes between 20 and 30 cityMover cardboard boxes. Each box is 40x40x40cm, which may seem small, but after full it weighs up to 30kg. They are designed to be moved freely by our staff, taking into account HSST (Hygiene, Safety and Health at Work) requirements.
On average, each wardrobe box carries between 6 and 10 hangers, depending on clothing: shirts take up less space than suits or wool coats.
